ENHANCING TEAM PERFORMANCE
Strategies for Building Effective Workplace Teams
Program Overview:
The Enhancing Team Performance (ETP) workshop assists participants in planning for specific improvements in the way the team operates. Participants will gain an integrated set of skills that can be applied anytime and anywhere, while enhancing team performance, leadership and team unity.
The result of applying these skills will be serious teamwork. ETP is based on solid, established psychological and behavioural principles, and focuses entirely on techniques for maximizing team effectiveness.
The program is individualized through the Behavioural Style Profile (BSP) and the Team Building Profile (TBP). The BSP provides a detailed assessment of the participant’s behavioural and communication style, including how to adapt their style to manage conflict, and facilitate team work. The TBP assesses team performance and identifies those factors which are contributing to the team’s success as well as those areas where improvement may be needed.
Prior to the workshop, each participant completes both questionnaires and returns them to the office of the program director. The data is then compiled and analyzed to create a report for each participant and customize the learning activities for the workshop based on the spread of profiles.
